North Jersey qualifiers: Michael Toranzo of St. Joseph, Jonas Hyman of Ramsey, Kyle Jacob of Paramus, Remy Brancato of Bergen Catholic, Max Acciardi of Paramus Catholic, Danny Hasbani of Passaic Valley.
2019 medalists: Jacob (second), Gage Armijo of Mendham (third), P.J. Casale of Delbarton (fifth).
Outlook: Paramus' Kyle Jacob (39-1) has been unstoppable since his run last year to the state final and enters as the No. 1 seed. The Fordham football commit is bound to give the Spartans a state medalist for the 10th straight year, but will it be gold?
No. 6 Michael Toranzo and No. 10 Remy Brancato give the field a distinct Bergen County flair.
152North Jersey qualifiers: Stefano Sgambellone of St. Joseph, Devin Ianelli of Northern Highlands, Alan Devries of Pompton Lakes, Alex Strashinsky of Bergen Catholic,
Aaron Ayzerov of Paramus, Dylan Weaver of Lyndhurst/North Arlington.
2019 medalists: Weaver (third), Brandon Mooney of Camden Catholic (fifth), Strashinsky (sixth), Nick Boggiano of Toms River North (eighth).
Outlook: Rutgers-bound Dylan Weaver starts his bid to become the first state champion from Lyndhurst since Donny Pritzlaff, now an assistant coach with the Scarlet Knights. Weaver placed third in the state last season, giving him the top finish by a Golden Bear in 18 years.
Now, Weaver will headline a bracket full of Bergen County flavor, with Alex Strashinsky (third seed), Stefano Sgambellone (fifth) and
Aaron Ayzerov (sixth).138North Jersey qualifiers: Michael Cetta of St. Joseph, Vincent DeMaria of Northern Highlands, William Grater of Bergen Catholic,
