Sonia Balwas, Paramus senior: Balwas took home Bergen County gold last year at 145 pounds and dropped down a weight in the state tournament and placed third. On the season, she was 24-8 with 18 pins and one technical fall.
Emma Mees, Paramus senior: Mees has qualified for the state championships in each of the last three seasons and capped off her most recent trip with a victory in the fifth-place bout. A runner-up at the BCWCA Invitational, she posted a 14-7 record as a junior.
